John is fantastic! Super easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and can break down the process on things so its much easier to understand. We were trying to buy a house with an unusual septic situation and he knew exactly how to handle it. We ended up getting outbid on the house before john could do his thing but we will certainly be using him when we find another place. Of all of the places I have spoken to and tried to work with, ABC is the tops!

John is a subject matter expert in his field and after a system inspection he was able to clearly articulate the age and condition of my setup which was constructed in 1972. John was nice enough to take his time for an extensive phone conversation and provided me with a detailed summary report. I called ABC to get an estimate for a septic on a new house we were buying. John was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. After sharing with him initial results from a previous inspection report, he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining to me what should have been done to repair it correctly, before he even got into if he needed to come and inspect it. My wife and I were in the process of closing on a home and as part of the due diligence, we needed to have the septic tank inspected prior to closing. Unlike a flooring guy, crown molding guy, pool guy, etc., not many people know a “septic guy” they can easily recommend. I began my research like anyone else on Google and quickly realized that the amount of information is overwhelming. I called a few different companies to chat pricing and services and got the sense that I would making calls forever. That is until I called John, the owner of ABC Septic Service. As someone who does Public Relations for a living, I pride myself on being able to read people within minutes. John was no nonsense and knew his stuff. He didn’t try to upsell me on services I didn’t need, and told me that everything would be ok (he could tell I was a little stressed). John was super accommodating around my schedule and was able to set an inspection appointment in less than 72 hours. Upon arriving at the home the drama started immediately (not with John). The owners couldn’t exactly pinpoint where the opening to the septic tank was and John stayed calm and collective the entire time. His work ethic and dedication to get the job done was really impressive. After finding and opening the tank, John took the time to explain exactly what I was looking at and described in detail options for future cleaning, removal, etc. He really took his time and made me feel like I was his priority for the day. Other companies out there should take a page from John’s book when it comes to customer service. He and his company are founded on honesty and not ripping people off – so much so that John’s pricing quote was WAY less than the other 4 companies I called. Anyone in NJ that needs any sort of septic work done would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn’t use ABC Septic Service.

Very solid company. I would highly recommend them. They performed exactly as they said they would and installed a new system as well as had inspections done in one day. Best price and best service means a lot when hiring a contractor and they did both.

With the new Health Department regulations, the job was looking like a nightmare but it thankfully turned out not bad at all.
